This privacy policy explains how Idogawa Software (“we”, “us”) processes personal data when you visit idogawa.com (the “Website”) or contact us. Server log files

When you visit the Website, our web server automatically records technical information that your browser sends: IP address, date and time of the request, the requested page, referrer, browser type and operating system. We use this data only to operate the Website, fix errors and protect it against misuse. Log files are deleted once they are no longer needed for these purposes.

Web analytics

We use Matomo, an open-source analytics tool that we host ourselves at matomo.idogawa.com. Usage data is not passed on to third parties. We use the statistics only to understand which pages are read and to improve the Website.

Cookies

The Website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. On the homepage, a small functional cookie (languageRedirectDone, valid for one day) remembers that you have already been redirected to your browser’s language, so that you are not redirected again.

Embedded content from third parties

Some pages include content from other providers. When you open such a page, your browser connects to the provider’s servers, which can process your IP address and set their own cookies:

Contact by e-mail

If you contact us by e-mail, we use your details (such as name, e-mail address and message) only to answer your request and to carry out any resulting project. We keep this correspondence as long as needed for that purpose and as required by law.

Disclosure and transfer abroad

We do not sell personal data. Service providers that host or operate parts of the Website may process data on our behalf. As we also work from Japan, personal data you send us may be processed there. Japan is recognized by the EU as providing an adequate level of data protection.

Your rights

You have the right to request information about your personal data, and to have it corrected or deleted. You can also object to its processing. To do so, contact us at web@idogawa.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC / EDÖB) or, if you live in the EU, with your local data protection authority.

Changes

We may update this privacy policy. The current version is always available on this page.
