AI courses with Claude Code
One-to-one evening lessons on large language models (LLMs) and AI-assisted software development, for individuals. In person in Aarau, Rupperswil, Lenzburg, Brugg and Baden or remote.
The focus is Claude Code: an AI assistant by Anthropic that works directly in the terminal and in your code repository. It reads code, proposes changes, runs commands and completes whole tasks, while you set the direction and review every change.

Course content
I adapt the content to your prior knowledge and your own project. Typical topics:
- Basics: how LLMs work, what they are good at and where their limits are
- Setup: installing Claude Code, connecting it to your own repository and setting sensible permissions
- Writing good instructions: scoping tasks clearly, giving context, recording project knowledge in a
CLAUDE.md - Reviewing changes: reading diffs, using tests and previews, catching mistakes before they go live
- Typical uses: finding bugs, modernizing old code, writing documentation, maintaining a website
- Security and privacy: what does not belong in a prompt and how to handle credentials

- One-to-one evening lessons: on your own project and at your own pace
- Single or as a series: one introductory lesson or several evenings in a row
Locations: Aarau, Rupperswil, Lenzburg, Brugg, Baden and surroundings, or remote by video call. Lessons in German, English or Japanese. Prices on request.
About me
I am Andi Idogawa, a software developer in the Aarau region. I have been developing web applications, webshops and integrations for many years.

How I use Claude
I regularly work with Claude Code on my own projects. One example is this website:
- Redesign: Claude Code modernized the stylesheet and checked every page in the browser on desktop and mobile.
- Content review: it found typos, outdated details and dead links in three languages. I decided what to change.
- Migration: my blog was moved from a PHP application into this website’s Ruby generator without a single URL changing.
- Maintenance: dependencies were updated for Ruby 4 and the build was made to work again.
Claude Code does the legwork; I set the direction and look at every change before it goes online. This is exactly the interplay we practise in the lessons.
